What's your Purpose of Life?

Have you ever thought of why you are reincarnate here to the earth?

This is a simple question, but thought provoking as well, isn't it?

Jim Rohn (I think is him, or some other great personality) says "The purpose of Life is a life of Purpose" Succinct but still "chim" (abstract) right you may say.

At the end of the secret behind the secret DVD (another post later), Abraham (the group of intelligence beings channeling via Esther Hicks) says it even more simple (or even more "chim") and beautifully "Life is life!"  Just 3 words :P but means a lot more!

These could be from Westerner perspectives. Pardon me as I counted Abraham Hicks as Western as it was spoken via an US lady's mouth :)

Before I off tangent too much. The reason why I blog this post is to share something I read some time back, from a Taiwanese writer 張德芬 think is the last book of her trilogy.

Life is a game. Everyone of us already pre plan what are the life lessons we would like to go through before coming to earth. To make this game more interesting and challenging, mankind always spend his/ her first half of life trying to forget who he/ she is, and spend the second half trying to remember who he/ she is. Pause a while ... It really has a lot to ponder. (like playing hide and seek, you also don't want to catch your mates too soon in the game, correct?)

Nevertheless, I do believe once we find out who we really are and our life purpose, we will live our lives much fuller with lots of passion.

I am closer to find out mine, what about you? :)

  1. Hi Patrick,

Nice article. I would like to share with you some website, which I like.

" For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life and how I chose to experience it.. " - http://www.anunda.com

But the most important thing is whether we want to continue it again and again. (i.e) whether to be born again or not

  2. Hi Nithi:

Long time no see fren. Interesting site your suggested.

My view is, if you see life as a continuum, there is actually no beginning and no end; just like when you draw a circle, you never can tell which one is starting, and which one is the end point, after you join the beginning with the end.

I guess in other dimension, where time is constant (NOW), this is even more exemplified.

Am sure everyone of us on earth plays a part in shaping our future and the earth future. By coming to this earth playground (or battlefield) again (& again), we sure got something we wanna to achieve in this life-time. Even if we didn't make it, there is still life after life ahead of us to try it out, in this earth or other dimension/ location. Think choosing earth as the ground is to speed things up only, given its heaviness (literally, not just the gravitational pull) it sure is one of the most challenging places.

The choice is really up to us, to decide to continue, or not. Ultimately, if you believe in soul, it is eternal. Like energy, once created, it will never get destroyed.

Some people get it, while some people don't. Never mind, we have heaps of time ahead of us (if the concept of time is still relevant haha) to figure out each reincarnation the purpose, and how to improve on next one.

Ultimately, there is really no end to it ... whichever way you see it.

Oops, guess better stop here, else this becomes another blog post heehee. Take care, my friend.
