Forsaken?

Green and Red apples
made of balloons
Meant to post this yesterday, but was too tired packing my house or perhaps I am also having slight flu because of the tiredness?

Got these two lovely apples, one green and one red color, made of balloon with real leaves outside of St.Andrew cathedral from a wheel chair lady yesterday evening outside CityHall MRT on my way home.  Apparently she is selling these and tissue packet for living maybe.

Normally I would be drawn to tissue paper seller out of sympathy and their dignity.  I would just give more than ask for amount, take one packet and go.

Yesterday case was a bit special, not about the cute apples, but the small bookmark that come with it.   It's about Christ message.  Jesus was asking His heavenly father why He forsake Him when he was being crucified.   Of course we knew it's a metaphor.  In actual fact, God would never forsake His children.

That brought me back to yesterday morning when I was having a long chat with one senior manager on his last day of work.  We didn't work that long or closely together, but from our brief encounters he is a frank person with all my due respect.  He is a devoted Christian, and he summarizes his bible interpretation quite well in few statements:
  • When God chooses you, there's nothing that can stop Him
  • Its God seeking you, not just you seek God
  • There's a Divine timing, on when is the right time for God to touch upon you
We were having the chat in the morning, and in the evening I received the 2 apples and bookmark.   I am not sure was it due to my RAS was activated to become more aware and start searching for evidence, but the coincidence/ synchronicity timing is just simply amazing.

I may not be ready to become a Christian yet, but I have to say I accepted God in my heart long back :) for all the blessings He given us.

I may not have time to post during this festive period, as will be busy shifting house. Hereby wish you and your loved ones, a merry Christmas and blessed New Year! :)
